Organizations can request an unlimited number of discounted products and cloud offers from Microsoft.
Requests that an organization places for discounted products must include at least five licenses. The five licenses can be for the same product or a combination of different products. This requirement is waived for some products.
Budget: Organizations with annual operating budgets of any size are eligible for products in this program.
Products are available to nonprofits only.
Microsoft requires organizations that request discounted products to register at its nonprofit portal and send an eligibility validation certificate for Microsoft software discounts to TechSoup.
Microsoft reserves the right to grant or deny an organization's request at any time, for any reason.
Usage requirements for donated cloud offers: Microsoft requires organizations that receive donated cloud offers to maintain 85 percent active usage of all donated licenses. Microsoft defines active usage as a user using at least one Microsoft 365 cloud service within the past 90 days. These cloud services include Exchange Online, Yammer, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365 Apps. Note that usage of perpetually licensed Office apps, such as Office Standard or Office Professional, does not factor into active usage metrics.
